In fact, in today's tutorial I will explain how to uninstall upday from your Samsung phone. In case you were wondering, I'll show you how to do it without root and without installing applications Of third parties.

How to uninstall upday step by step

What is Upday

Before going into the details of the procedure in how to uninstall upday, I think you might be interested in learning more about this app.

Well upday is an application that comes often pre installed  from Samsung on their mobile phones. It is designed to provide the user with the latest news in real time and keep him informed of what is happening in the world. On some models, upday is also built into a special panel called Bixby Home or upday.

Yes, it is therefore a harmless and free application, which could also be useful if you want to use it. In fact, Upday is promoted directly by Samsung. However, I understand that in some cases it can be superfluous, if not downright annoying, which is why I will now explain how to get rid of it.

Uninstall upday

After explaining what upday is for, I would say that you are ready to uninstall it.

If you have one of the latest Samsung mobile phone models, it is likely that upday was installed via the Galaxy Store or Play Store.

In this case, all you need to do to get rid of it is to press and hold the iono Upday and click on the article first Uninstall and in Okay.

Of course, you can also uninstall upday via Galaxy Store. To do so, open the latter, find "UpDay" inside, select the application icon (a small white "u" on a blue background) and press Uninstall.

How to disable upday

In case you have an outdated mobile phone, sorry to inform you that you cannot uninstall upday completely.

In fact, in this case, we are talking about a system application, which therefore cannot be removed from the device (except by more advanced procedures, which are however not worth carrying out for such useless purposes).

Either way you can disable upday so you do not see it again and do not receive your notifications.

To do this, press and hold your finger in an empty space on the starting screen from your mobile phone. After that, swipe left until you reach the call screen Bixby Home / upday.

Now turn off the palanca present in the upper right.

Perfect, now you have successfully disabled upday and no longer have to deal with the app. Viewed? It was not that difficult!

How do you say? Don't want to uninstall upday but just want to delete its notifications? No problem: there is a native function of Android It allows you to do just that.

If you have one of the latest Samsung mobile phone models, all you need to do is open Upday (also by pressing on the news on the Bixby home / update screen), tap the  i vertical three point cone in the upper right and select the item My profile in the menu that opens.

At this point, scroll down the page, press Notifications and deactivate the levers next to the items breaking newsCustom notifications. Great, now you have successfully disabled the Upday related notifications.

If, on the other hand, you have an "old-fashioned" mobile phone, you should go to the configurations (the gear icon located on the home screen), select the item Applications / App on the next screen and tap Upday

In some cases, you may need to touch ADVANCED present at the top right and select Show system apps.

After that, you just have to disable the notifications through the palanca. Unfortunately, I cannot be more precise with my indications, since each version of the operating system has a different procedure.
