First walking app what i suggest you try is Adidas Running, developed by Runtastic in collaboration with Adidas.

It is available for free at Android and iOS / iPadOS, but access to some specific training plans and some additional features is reserved for users who subscribe to the Premium subscription, which starts at € 9.99 / month.

However, this does not mean that it is less functional. In fact, it is able to function flawlessly for its intended purpose. It allows you to keep track of many activities, such as walking, displaying training time, speed, and much more. It's free (although it's available in a Premium variant with additional features) and it's available for Android and iOS / iPadOS.
To use it, download it and start it on your device, then press the button Register now and provide to create your account immediately (it is a mandatory step to use the application). You can sign up away email, by filling out the proposed registration form, or with your Facebook and Google accounts, by clicking on the buttons Continue with Facebook o Continue with Google.
When registering, provide the information required by the application, give your consent for the processing of personal data and press the buttons Accept and continue o siguiente. If you are asked to subscribe to the Premium subscription, know that you are not obliged to accept it: if you wish, also close the subscription screen by pressing the button (X) placed in the upper left.
Then go to the card training located below, tap the icon gear located at the top right and, after selecting the item See other activities, touch the option walk. Then the training begins , pressing the button Play located in the center of the screen and it starts to move.

RunKeeper is a very popular application that has almost the same features as the solutions I have already mentioned. It allows you to track not only the relevant data during the walk, but also during the walk, the bike rides and many other activities.
It has a nice user interface, it is practical enough to use and it is free (but there is also a paid version, which costs 9,99 euros / month and differs from the free one by the possibility of obtaining very detailed statistics for training purposes) . It can be downloaded at Android devices and on iOS / iPadOS.
To use it, after downloading, launch the application and register by pressing the button Register and following the instructions that appear on the screen. You can register with yours email or your account Facebook o google.
After registration, follow the short introductory tutorial that was proposed to you, and once the main application screen is displayed, press the item activities, select walk o March (depending on the type of walk you want to do) from the menu that appears and touch the button to accept, to confirm the choice made.
Therefore, set up a possible workout by pressing the item training and then selecting one of the available options; choose whether and when to receive audio statistics by tapping Audio statistics, and indicates if you want to listen music (and which) during the activity by clicking music located below left.
